International women’s day

We are here, we are everywhere,

We have heart, and we have a voice.

We are fearless, we are shy,

We have brains, and should always have a choice.

We bring empathy, we feel deeply,

We protect and we nurture.

We give hope and we multitask,

We feel pain and we endure.

We can be secluded but we unite.

We bring change but can be ignored.

We push equality, we will defend.

We can be quiet but have all roared.

We will fight for what is right,

We keep going, we are unflappable.

We get held back, so we rise up,

When we build up others, we are unstoppable.
